Happy Feet ![]() Why Do I Need Them? Every day, the average person takes 18,000 steps. The impact force of thousands of pounds of pressure is sustained not only by the feet, but by the legs, knees, and back as well. Walking on hard surfaces, such as tile and concrete floors, compounds the strain on the body. Arthritis, heel spurs, corns, callouses, bunions, blisters or other conditions may form or intensify. The constant stress can result in vary degrees of discomfort, ranging from feeling tired to experiencing mild soreness and even pain. When you feel discomfort, the natural gait cycle is interrupted, posture is impaired, and the entire body is affected. Almost anyone on their feet can benefit from wearing Happy Feet Massaging Insoles! How Do They Work? "Easy-Flow" creates a fluid cushion between the feet and the ground. The insoles sustain the impact, provide fluid shock absorption and counteract stress to feet, legs, knees, and lower back. The "velvet" layers serve as a moisture barrier which helps keep feet cool and comfortable, in addition to giving added cushion. The insoles have a soothing, massaging effect on the feet and have provided users relief from foot, leg and lower back pain and helped prevent reoccurence. Can I Wear Them In All My Shoes, During Any Activity? The insoles are perfect for use in any dress or casual shoe and are designed for standing, walking and low-impact sports such as golf or bowling. Since they are easily removed, they can be interchanged in all your shoes. How Do I Put Them Into My Shoes? For optimal comfort, support, and therapeutic effectiveness, HAPPY FEET Fluid Massaging insoles were designed to be worn on top of the shoe liner in your shoes, next to the foot. After checking the shoes to be sure they are free of sand, grit, etc., simply place the insoles into the shoe, flush against the heel and toe and flat against the foot bed. Since there is no right or left insole, either side of the "velvet" layers may rest against the shoe. Should the insoles "bunch up", trim the toe area a SMALL AMOUNT AT A TIME to prevent crowding at the heel until a proper fit is achieved. This will allow your heel to press the glycerin filling forward with each step. FIrmly work the insoles into each of your shoes until they lie flat and snug. Can I Wear Them For Running? No. In order to work properly, the fluid glycerin needs to move from heel to toe to heel, etc. While they may be worn even for power walking, running and impact sports like basketball do not allow proper flow of the fluid glycerin. ![]() FATIGUE REDUCTION: People who work on hard floors can experience enormous fatigue at the end of a long shift. The resiliency provided by the use of Happy Feet allows the wearer to end their long day at work feeling less fatigue in their lower body due to the combination of cushioning, massage and shock reduction. CUSHION: Happy Feet provide cushioning to the entire bottoms of your feet. As we age, there is an erosion of the fat pads on the bottom of our feet. Some people begin to lose this padding at an earlier age than others and some never lose it. When this erosion begins to occur, certain bones in the bottom of the feet become closer to the skin. Happy Feet provide a replacement padding for the eroded fat pads and relieves pressure on the bones that are affected. Happy Feet help considerably in the reduction of pain due to heel spurs, stone bruises and pain suffered by individuals that spend long hours standing or walking on hard surfaces. MASSAGE: Happy Feet offer a constant massage to the bottom of the feet. With each step, the glycerin gel is moved forward and as the ball of the foot descends, moves back to the heel of the foot. By creating this action, there is a constant massage to the bottom of the feet, as long as Happy Feet are in place. There are thousands of nerve endings located at the bottom of the feet. These nerve areas are set in small clusters and have a tendency to accumulate uric acid deposits. Uric acid deposits help cause the pain you feel. Massaging, over a period of time, can actually break down the deposits of uric acid crystals that have formed on the nerve clusters. By massaging the entire bottoms of the feet, Happy Feet work constantly to dissolve these hard deposits. The glycerin is a dense consistency, which makes it slower in movement than other liquids. The slower movement creates a deeper massage action, and therefore is very therapeutic. |
